PUBLISHING PROPERTIES

The Camp David Diaries is a set of multiple publishing properties:
1. The BOOKS (Camp David Diaries): The books are in the final edit process by the author. Agent and publisher inquiries are welcome. The book is being published by Sterling-Miller Publishing Company. The diaries are organized into Volumes - I thru XI by administration, in chronological order. Each chapter is prefaced by an historical frontispiece reminding the reader what was going on in the world during each administration. There are notes written in the margins next to entries made by previous First Ladies, commenting on a particular entry
("Eleanor, I’m entering the race as a tribute to you and all of the rest of our sorority sisters. HRC." and "I didn't realize it was Mamie who kept Dick on the party's ticket. Pat N.") Some news articles, pictures and letters from former First Ladies are also pasted in the pages of this "family" scrapbook. Sales categories are appropriate under the heading of current affairs, cultural studies, women's studies, political science, biography, inspiration, and women's commercial fiction. It is ideally suited for first and second serial rights and other extraction sales. It should be of interest in translation.

2. THEATER PROPERTIES: Since the book property is organized into Volumes by administration, each Volume has been scripted for the stage as one-hour, one-woman theatrical performances. There are 11 scripts. Amateur groups / individuals - Performance rights are available from the author for non-profit organizations (schools, colleges, etc.). These plays lend themselves nicely as competition monologues, high school and college performances, and a myriad of educational uses by museums, libraries, and other like institutions.

Professional groups / individuals - Licensing agreements are available for professional productions. Currently the author/performance artist is touring throughout the United States making these serial presentations to conventions, national organization clubs, schools, upscale independent living centers, university alumni reunions, etc. Actresses are invited to perform these works under licensing agreements across the country.  We are sometimes required to restrict or slightly restrict availability. We will be happy to advise you of availability in your area, please check before scheduling a production.

3. Audio/Visual Properties: The eleven one-woman shows will be captured on video and audio for a regional/national broadcast series. It is perfect for female-oriented programming. Imagine: A television series Lunch With the First Ladies sponsored by an appropriate corporation. Or a drive-time radio series. Or the entire series in a video or audio collection. Inquiries from producers/directors are welcome. Production and broadcast rights are available only through the author.
